Kids Like Us has run a thriving breakfast and after-school club at Southwater Infant Academy since 2006.  Based securely within the school grounds, our infant and junior children have their own separate rooms where they have age-appropriate toys to keep them entertained.

Dop off for breakfast is from 7.45am.  We offer a choice of healthy cereals, toast with topping and fruit juice or water, after which the children can choose from the wide range of toys, games and activities before we escort them to their class.

In the afternoon, we collect the infant children from their class teacher.  Junior siblings walk across from their classes at the Junior Academy.  On arrival at the hall, the children sit down for registration and a piece of fruit while the plans for the afternoon are shared with the group.  These plans may include arts and crafts, sensory play, group games, cooking activities and construction challenges to name but a few! During the after-school session, the children will also be offered a healthy snack to keep the hunger pangs at bay until they go home.  Weather permitting, we have use of the playground and paddock during the summer months, giving us a great space for group games, sports and playing with our friends.  We are open until 6pm.
