Woodland School
What an incredible time our Year 2 children are having at Woodland School!
Our children explore nature in the most wonderful way - from creating beautiful salt dough wildlife models decorated with natural treasures like twigs, bark and feathers, to becoming nature detectives on scavenger hunts, spotting flowers, spider webs and collecting interesting objects.
They learn teamwork as they work together to build amazing dens that everyone can enjoy! We also dig for worms, bug hunt with magnifying glasses, and find quiet spots for nature journaling to draw and write about what they see, hear and feel around them.
We are so impressed with how the children are immersing themselves in every activity and working brilliantly as teams. What a special way to learn and connect with the natural world!
