PTFA Summer Fair! Saturday 13th June
Are you looking for something fun and entertaining to do with your children this summer? Then why not join the Southwater Academies PTFA Summer Fair in June. Enjoy lots of exciting activities for all the family, shop and interact with over 20 local businesses including arts and craft stalls and enjoy creating special family memories whilst helping raise money for charity at the same time! Expect lots of fun, laughter, singing and dancing, lots of new activities with heaps of prizes to be won for everyone!
The Southwater Infant and Junior Academies PTFA (Southwater Academies PTFA) is excited to announce they are bringing back their extremely popular Summer Fair community event on Saturday 13th June from 12-4pm. The Summer Fair kindly sponsored by At Home and About Mortgages will be held across both schools, creating a lovely opportunity for the communities of both academies, and friends of Southwater and Horsham to come together and enjoy some summer fun. With the potential for over 2,000 attendees from our academy families alone, guests will participate in lots of energetic and vibrant summer activities with something for everyone to enjoy.
Adults can relax and unwind, treating themselves to some great shopping stalls, indulging in lots of delicious food and alcoholic beverages and have a go on lots of our fantastic stalls including our famous bottle tombola and wine or water stall. Before preparing for our key attractions – the inflatable arena, beat the goalie, human fruit machine, darts, basketball and our showstopping gift and sweet tombolas, set to be loved by the whole family.
Whilst children can experience the spectacular hook a duck, teddy spin to win, toy and sweet shop, coconut shy and splat Bowser! All the family are set to enjoy the fair’s BBQ, external food vendors, face painting and various other new and exciting activities.
New for 2026, sees the launch of our brand-new LIVE Auction, set to bring even more fun and excitement to this year’s fair. Bidding is simple with 10 big and fantastic prizes to be won, the thrill of the auction is all about the moment, the anticipation, the competition and the win – it’s not for the faint hearted.
Back by popular demand - is our Grand Summer Prize Draw kindly sponsored by MJP Electrical Contractors Ltd – top prizes include a cash prize of £250, £100 and £50 plus 6 luxury hampers to be won worth £25 each! If that’s not exciting enough we also have special stall prizes and vouchers to be won on some of our top attractions.

Everyone is invited, it’s not just open to academy families. Entry fees are £1 per adult, 50p per child and free entry for pre-schoolers. Set to be one of the biggest school fairs in Horsham this Summer, be sure to support this fun local event, especially at a time where additional fundraising is so essential for schools. The money raised at the event will go a long way to supporting our children’s education whilst promoting other local charities and businesses.
Don’t miss a fantastic family day out, with live entertainment by DJ80, special performances by a host of local dance and community groups and a special appearance by one of Horsham’s favourite mascots, Horsham FC’s Howie the Hornet.
