Welcome to Southwater Infant Academy

On behalf of all Trustees, staff and children I am delighted to welcome you to The Southwater Infant Academy.

At Southwater Infants we believe children learn in response to the environment in which they find themselves and to the adults whom they encounter. We provide learning opportunities in attractive surroundings, led by a highly professional and dedicated team of teachers, support staff and trustees. We care deeply for the development of each individual child and put your child at the centre of all we do.

Our academy is a warm, welcoming, friendly place which prides itself on the positive relationships that it has with the children and their families. We have high expectations of behaviour and academic standards, supported by our broad and balanced curriculum that maximises every opportunity to develop the whole child. Our highly committed and professional teaching and support staff enable each child to achieve their best, support each other and above all enjoy their learning and develop into lifelong learners.

I hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that it gives you a glimpse of all we have to offer your child, but I do hope that you will come and visit us in person and see the academy for yourself – we are always happy to show prospective parents around. Please feel free to contact the academy direct with any queries that you may have.
