Maths |
This week in maths we will be consolidating our learning on Time. We will be recapping telling the time to o’clock, quarter past, half past and quarter to. We will also introduce telling the time to 5 minute intervals, please continue practising how to tell the time with your child at home too! |
Wider Curriculum |
Science: LO: Observe and describe how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants. To find out and describe how plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to grow and stay healthy. PSHE: LO: To recognise that ‘big changes’ may make us feel ‘big emotions’ P.E- Our Mini Marathon event! History: LO: To understand the key events of the Stuarts. Create a timeline of the Stuart dynasty and key events. Music: LO: Eddie the Penguin Song and Script Practise. Art: LO: To be able to talk about artistic techniques used by other artists. |

A couple of notices: Monday 1st – Our Year 2 children will spend the afternoon up at the junior school with their new teacher and class. Wednesday 3rd – Transition afternoon for the whole school. |

Please note some of the learning will take place across more than one week and during some weeks the learning focus may not cover all curriculum areas.
