| Literacy |
We will continue with our learning journey on Beegu this week. After our learning about nouns and adjectives and how to use these in descriptive sentences, we are going to start writing the story of Beegu into our own words. We will start by mapping the story out using pictures and verbally telling the story, before then having a go at putting it into writing using descriptive sentences. |
| Maths |
This week in maths the children will be looking at bridging 10. We will be using tens frames, number lines, part, part wholes and our known number facts to bridge ten when adding and subtracting within twenty. |

Wider Curriculum |
In science, this week the children will continue to investigate the suitability of everyday materials. They will be using the vocabulary of transparent, opaque, and translucent to describe materials. |
| Art | This week the children are going to be relief printing. Using their cardboard and string designs from last week they will be creating a repeating pattern. |
