Welfare and Pupil Premium Form


A Pupil Premium (Government payment) is allocated to schools for children of statutory age from low income families who are known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM). We can apply for extra funding if you receive any of the following:
-Income Support
-Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
-Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
-Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- The guaranteed element of -Pension Credit
-Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
-Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
-Universal Credit - with an annual net earned income of no moe than £7,400 a year

The Pupil Premium is also allocated to pupils who are eligible and claimed for FSM at any point in the six years, to children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months.
Service Pupil Premium for children whose parents are currently serving in the Armed Forces or have previously been a Service child.
