Dear Year 1 Families,

The children in Year 1 will be going on a trip to WWT Arundel Wetlands Centre on Tuesday 17th June.

This trip will reflect their Science topic on ‘Pond Life’ in the Summer Term.

Arundel Wetland Centre will provide unique opportunities for the children to interact with wetland wildlife from the UK and across the world. As we know children learn best through real life experiences so will be taking part in a staff led pond dipping experience, discovering what fascinating creatures call the pond home.

As always, we ask parents for a voluntary contribution in order to run this trip. On this occasion it will be £12.00 – which covers the cost of the coach, entrance fee and insurance.
